Iranhas warned that it will destroy all infrastructure in the Middle East if the USattacks its facilities. Iranian Armed Forces spokesman Ebrahim Zolfaqari said Tehran's response would be tougher and more destructive than it has been so far.
Zolfaqari has stated that any US offensive will be responded to with extensive attacks on infrastructure in the region and has stressed that the Iranian Armed Forces are prepared to respond more strongly and hasalso stressed that Iran will not yield to pressure from Washington.
On the other hand, the Iranian military authorities have once again declared that the Strait of Hormuz is a "red line" for the country, warning that if the US does not respect the legal framework that Iran claims on this strategic route, it will keep the strait closed, adding that the Iranian Armed Forces have the capacity to control the area.
