Iran warns it will destroy "all infrastructure" in the Middle East if the US attacks its

Iranhas warned that it will destroy all infrastructure in the Middle East if the USattacks its facilities. Iranian Armed Forces spokesman Ebrahim Zolfaqari said Tehran's response would be tougher and more destructive than it has been so far.

Zolfaqari has stated that any US offensive will be responded to with extensive attacks on infrastructure in the region and has stressed that the Iranian Armed Forces are prepared to respond more strongly and hasalso stressed that Iran will not yield to pressure from Washington.

On the other hand, the Iranian military authorities have once again declared that the Strait of Hormuz is a "red line" for the country, warning that if the US does not respect the legal framework that Iran claims on this strategic route, it will keep the strait closed, adding that the Iranian Armed Forces have the capacity to control the area.

The US has been carrying out attacks on Iran for several days on charges of violating the agreement of understanding. Tehran, however, has denied the charge, denounced repeated breaches of the ceasefire and responded with attacks against US interests in the region, all of which has increased the possibility of negotiations for a peace agreement being suspended.

Irandoes not rule out facing one or more new wars waged bythe US , which it says is about to launch a hybrid campaign that would involve not only bombings, but also murders, mercenaries, cyberattacks and provocations within the Islamic Republic.

Washington would launch its armed campaign as soon as theWorld Cup ends, according to diplomatic sources in Tehran, which have reported that all options are planned and have ensured that they are more prepared than on February 28 , when the US and Israel launched an attack on Iran .

The memorandum of understanding between US PresidentDonald Trump and Iranian President Masud Pezeshkian , signed on June 17, arrived in extremis when the deadline set by the US was being met.

From Tehran they say that they will always leave the diplomatic channel open, but that they will not negotiate directly with the US, and that any development of this kind will come from the main mediators of the conflict, which is in Pakistan, Oman or Qatar .
