Trump says he's willing to talk to Hezbollah if Lebanon asks him
While the President of the United States is pushing for negotiations for the departure of the Israeli army from southern Lebanon, Israeli troops have opened fire on the Lebanese army as a "warning."

Trump has received Lebanese President Joseph Aoun inthe White House to push forward negotiations leading to the withdrawal of Israeli troops from southern Lebanon. He has said that if Aoun asks him, he will also be willing to talk to Hezbollah to bring stability to the Middle East country.
Israel and Lebanon signed a peace agreement last June 26 in Washington under U.S.-China auspices, which provides for the establishment of camps and the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Lebanese wing, with control of the Lebanese Army in so-called "pilot zones."
However, despite the agreement, Israel maintains its attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon.
At a meeting in the White House, Aoun said that Nabih Berri, president of the Lebanese parliament and leader of a Shia party close to Hezbollah, supports peace efforts and wants "the war to end."
Gunfire on Lebanese troops
As Aoun and President Trump meet in a good atmosphere, the Israeli Army has opened fireonLebanese troops, but has claimed that there have been "warning shots into the air" because the Lebanese contingent "entered beyond the established withdrawal zone."
According to the Israeli military statement, on Tuesday, a group of Lebanese military personnel, along with "an engineer's vehicle," exceeded Israel's space in Zawtar al-Gharbiya municipality by about 150 metres, "contrary to agreements between the parties."
He reported that IDF soldiers operating in the area fired "warning shots into the air" that did not "endanger" Armed Forces personnel in the area.
The Lebanese army command has warned that "this attack will hinder the implementation of deployment measures".
