Yellow warning for high temperatures throughout the Basque Country, except on the coast, and in several areas of Navarre
The warning will affect the interior of Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and Álava, as well as the central area, the Pyrenees and the Ribera del Ebro of Navarre, and the ceilings will be up to 36 degrees on the axis of the Ebro. The Department of Safety and Security has activated the yellow warning for very high temperatures in the interior of Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and Álava for today. In Navarre, the State Meteorology Agency will keep the yellow warning in the central area, in the Pyrenees and in the Ribera del Ebro, where extreme temperatures are expected.
The warning will remain active throughout the daydueto persistent high temperatures: up to 32 degrees in the interior of Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, up to 35 degrees in Álava and up to 36 degrees on the axis of the Ebro.
