Osakidetza treated 26 people affected by high temperatures this Friday

The Osakidetza Emergency Service has treated 26 people this Friday until 7 p.m. due to high temperatures, which have again exceeded 40 ° C at various points in the Basque Country.

Of the total number of persons treated, 15 have had to be evacuated by ambulance to a hospital or health centre, according to the Basque Government's Department of Health, whose most notable symptoms have been dizziness, loss of consciousness and fatigue .

Most of the cases have been recorded in Gipuzkoa , where 14 people have been affected by heat, 11 in Bizkaia and one in Álava .
