Last days of heat today and tomorrow, because change is coming Saturday

According to the prediction of the Basque meteorological agency Euskalmet, this Thursday , July 23, will again be very hot, with clear or cloudy skies, with some high clouds, from noon the wind will blow from the north and the streaks can be strong, especially in the afternoon in the south.

In the capitals, Baiona has a minimum of 20 degrees and a maximum of 29 degrees, in Bilbao a minimum of 19 and a maximum of 32, in Donostia-San Sebastián a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 28, in Vitoria-Gasteiz a minimum of 13 and a maximum of 34 and in Pamplona a minimum of 19 and a maximum of 39.

In particular, the yellow warning for high temperatures will be in effect today in Álava, in the region next to the Ebro from 13:00 to 19:00, as well as in the central Navarre, the Pyrenees and the Ribera, from 13:00 to 21:00.

Atthe beginning of Friday the weather will continue along the same lines. During the central hours of the day the wind will turn northwest, starting from the coast, which will lead to a drop in maximum temperatures, especially in Bizkaia, where the wind will change in the morning. In the south the wind will change later and the heat will continue. 

The sun will dominate during the first half of the day and, after the change of wind, some low clouds may appear on the cantabrian side.

As far as temperatures are concerned, they will continue to rise evenly in the east and the west (especially in Bizkaia) and the south. 

In Navarre there will be an orange heat warning in the Ribera, and yellow in the center and Pyrenees,  0A013: 00 to 21:00.

Saturday, change.

On Saturday there will be a significant change in the weather. During the first half of the day the skies will be cloudy, especially along the coast, and will tend to cover as the hours go on. There may be some faint rain in the morning and weak to moderate showers in the afternoon. In addition, the probability of a thunderstorm will be high. 

Loose west component wind in the early morning and early morning, with strong streaks along the coast, the rest of the day loose to moderate northwest wind with strong streaks. 

Although the minimum temperatures will remain unchanged or in slight decline, the maximum temperatures will be the main change: the warmest temperatures will fall sufficiently or significantly along the coast and will fall sharply on the Mediterranean side.
