The Basque Book and Disco Fair in Ziburu will open "The Moment of Breath and the Square of Creation"
The Balkan Association and the media Argia have organized for 6 June the seventh edition of the Basque Book and Disco Fair in Ziburu, which aims to "feed the Euskera from the Basque Country and in Basque, promote creation and enjoy its diversity and richness".
In addition, before the Fair, there will be two preliminary sessions in Baigorri ("Pleiba", literary verse by Mira Amuriza with Mira Artetxe and Maddi Ane Txoperena, on 22 May) and in San Juan de Luz (presentation of the book by Aritz Ibarra "Deiadarra", on 28 May).
On 6 June, on the other hand, 41 publishers and self-producers (Usopop, Balio Dute, Maitakultura...) and 8 composers (Usopop, Balio Dute, Maitakultura...) will meet at the Fair, and they will also perform live: Xabier Badiola, Maite Larburu, Pantxix Bidart and Marie, Indigo group, Maitakultura.
This year's honoree will be writer, linguist and professor Beñat Oihartzabal, who will be honored at the opening ceremony (10:00) and then discussed with Celine Mounole.
