"The Forza del Destino" opens the season with Verdi's opera by ABAO
They will perform four functions starting on October 25. The romantic drama of Giuseppe Verdi has been set in the Spanish Civil War.
The Bilbao Association of Opera Friends ABAO will begin the 2025/26 season withthework La forza del destino , on 25 October, World Opera Day, and will also be able to enjoy the show on 28 and 31 November, as well as on 3 November.
All performances will take place in the Basque Country, with the collaboration of the Basque Orchestra, under the direction of Master Lorenzo Passerini.
In the four-act play, Leonora will be accompanied by soprano Carmen Solis and tenor Angelo Villari, Don Alvaro, accompanied by mezzosoprano Ketevan Kemmozlde, baritone Juan Jesús Rodríguez, Marife Nogales and Gillen Munguia.
Tickets for the four shows are on sale for between 26 and 291 euros.
