Although he was born in Ziburu, he spent much of his life in San Juan de Luz. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Basque artist, several events have been held throughout the year and the last one, this Saturday, has been the inauguration of the sculpture, which will be exhibited from now on. The author, Romain Tiercin, has stated that the Ravel sand "continues to illuminate the world".
