Etxanobe has lamented the riots of the Return to Spain as damaging to the Basque Country
The General Representative of Bizkaia has said that they share what is happening in Gaza and strongly condemn the 'barbarism being committed by the Israeli Government'. However, he believes that these proclamations' have their place 'and should not affect other acts which have nothing to do with it.
The General Representative ofBizkaia Elixabete Etxanobe has describedas "regrettable" the way to end the 2025 Returnto Spain due to the incidents that took place in Bilbao at the finish line.
The General Deputy of Bizkaia, on the other hand, has expressed his solidarity with the people of Gaza and has strongly condemned the 'cruelty' being committed by the Israeli Government. Etxanobe believes, however, that these proclamations' have their place 'and should not affect other acts which have nothing to do with it.
"We proclaim our solidarity in the defenceof the people of Gaza , although we must not confuse things. It is a real pity that this sporting event that internationalizes the Basque Country has to be interrupted and ended in this way. "
"However, we will continue to work, and we will be ready for the next, so that such events do not recur," he concludes.
