The Provincial Council of Bizkaia

At a press conference following the meeting of the Basque Finance Council, the General MemberofBizkaia avoided answering questions about the candidacies of the PNV for the forthcoming presidential elections.  Etxanobe has stressed that he is "focused" on his functions as the General Deputy of Bizkaia and that the election of the candidates "will follow his path" and will be "respectful".

The Basque Finance Council has confirmed that tax collection will be 1.1% higher this year than planned, with a forecast of 22,681 million for 2027. 

The president of the BBB, Iñigo Ansola, has assured us that Ibone Bengoetxea is the best candidate for the General Deputy of Bizkaia  and has assured us that he will respect the party's last word.

The current General Deputy of Bizkaia, Elixabete Etxanobe, will not run again in the presidential elections to be held in the spring of 2027, as announced yesterday by the Bizkaia Buru Batzar, at a meeting at which it was decided to exclude Etxanobe from the bid in 2023 and to nominate instead the current First Vice-President and Cultural Advisor, Ibone Bengoetxea.

This measure will enable temporary residential resources to be made available to ensure care for minors arriving in the territory and to streamline the already strained network.

EH Bildu's Bizkaia Political Bureau believes that baracaldés is the right person to represent the project of left-wing sovereignty.

A crowd is expected to gather around the natural area to observe the astronomical phenomenon, so the Bizkaia Council and the municipalities of Bakio and Bermeo will activate a special security operation.

The Basque Country Transport Authority has agreed on a protocol to coordinate inspections and sanctions on VTC services. 

The protest took place in October last year at the headquarters of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia in Bilbao, where activists displayed a banner and one of them was chained inside the building .  They have been fined for public disorder under article 36.3 of the Gag Act.

The Foral Treasury has advanced that the rent will go out in favor of the citizens and that 70% of the taxpayers  will be refunded.
