The President of the Spanish Government and Secretary-General of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, has today begun the Federal Committee of the PSOE, which has been a milestone, in which, in addition to restructuring the leadership of the party, internal anti-corruption measures have been adopted following the crisis created by former Secretary of Organization Santos Cerdán, with thirteen measures to prevent and punish corruption within the party.
In his opening speech, Sanchez announced the proposal for these thirteen measures, grouped into three axes, and developed some of them, such as the creation of more collegiate posts and the introduction of double signatures for numerous documents in key posts.
Along with them, the President proposes to reregulate the maximum time limits for resolving information and disciplinary cases in cases of corruption, "without, of course, restricting guarantees".
"The obligation to act with the utmost diligence because in the lightness of these processes there is a difference between success and failure," the president has justified in presenting these measures.
