The Provincial Council of Bizkaia will builda new headquarters in Bilbao, in the Plaza de la Casilla (next to the sports centre of La Casilla), with the use of the landof the former School of Experts , which will allow the confluence of services currently scattered in 31 residences , "optimizing public resources and improving public attention", as announced by the General Deputy of Bizkaia, ElixabeteEtxanobe .
The sum of these services in the same building will save "about EUR 3 million per year", explained Etxanobe, who explained that this strategic decision will mark a new milestonein the development of the Council, since this new building "will make it possibleto optimise resources, improve care for citizens and provide better working spaces and conditions for people working in this institution ".
"We have discussed various options and the ideal is to build a new building in Etxetxua Square, taking advantage ofa land owned by the Diputación, the former School of Experts, "explains Etxanobe.

Etxanobe has stressed that the new foral building will support the project to revitalize the environment being promoted by the Bilbao City Council.
