Euskal autogobernuaren etorkizunari buruzko eztabaida betean, EITB Focusek ondorioztatu du hamar euskal herritarretatik lauk Gernikako Estatutua hobetzearen aldeko apustua egingo luketeela, % 20k dagoen bezala uztea nahiago lukete, eta % 18k EAEk Estatuarekin duen harreman-estatus berri baten alde egiten dute.
EITB Focusen azken atalak euskal autogobernuaren etorkizunari buruzko eztabaidan zein aukera nahiago duten galdetu die euskal herritarrei.
Horrela, % 43,3k egungo Gernikako Estatutua hobetzearen alde egin dute. EAJren (% 45,8) eta EH Bilduren (% 44,4) boto-emaileek nabarmen babesten dute aukera hori.
Bigarren tokian Gernikako Estatutua bere horretan mantentzeko aukera legoke. Galdetutakoen % 20,6k aukeratu dute epigrafe hori. PSE-EEren (% 47,8) eta PPren (% 85,7) boto-emaileek gehien nahiago duten aukera da, eta EH Bilduren (% 9,6) boto-emaileek gutxien aukeratu dutena.
Azkenik, herritarren % 18,1ek Euskal Autonomia Erkidegoaren eta Estatuaren arteko harreman estatus berri bat lortu nahi dute, EH Bilduren boto-emaileen % 32,3k eta EAJren boto-emaileen % 16,7k.

EAEn eta Nafarroan bizi diren 1.600 pertsona (400 EAEko lurralde historiko bakoitzean eta 400 Nafarroan) elkarrizketatu dira EITB Focus inkesta egiteko.
Gizakerrek EITBrentzat egindako ikerketa hau 2025eko irailaren 15etik 23ra egin da, telefono bidezko elkarrizketaren bidez.
