Nine people under investigation for participating in Ernai's Euskera rally in San Sebastian and for "public disorder and damage"
On Wednesday, the Ertzaintza opened proceedings for nine participants in the rally called by the youth organization Ernai in defence of the Basque Country. According to Ernai on the X social network, the mobilization has focused on "denouncing the onslaught and proclaiming that the Euskera needs independence."
"We are in a situation of aggression against the Basque Country, of political and judicial aggression against the Basque Country, with constant sentences and attacks on the Basque Country," the youth organization said.
