All three were arrested on Wednesday for alleged irregularities in public contracts by agents of the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard, within the framework of the operation led by Central Examining Court No. 6 of the National High Court, the holder of which is Piña, in coordination with the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
Detainees shall be brought before the National High Court after the expiry of the maximum period of three days of detention. They've been in the pumpkins of the Civil Guard Command in Tres Cantos, Madrid, since Wednesday.
In parallel with the arrests, the UCO has been conducting since Wednesday about 20 entries and searches and requests for documentation in various provinces, includingMadrid, Zaragoza, Seville and Navarra, institutions, companies and homes related to contracts under suspicion.
