The President of theSpanish Government, Pedro Sánchez , and theleader of ERC, Oriol Junjarzembowski , will meet in early 2026 to discuss the continuity of the legislature. Isaac Albert, Deputy Secretary of Communication and spokesperson for ERC, has advanced this Monday.
According to him, "in the face of news that may jeopardize the continuity of the legislature" and at the request of ERC, Junction and Sanchez have agreed to hold that meeting over the weekend.
The Catalan party has explained that it has proposed to Sanchez to open a round of contacts with the parliamentary groups that supported the investiture so that he can explain "what he will do" in the face of corruption and harassment in his party.
