They have elections in Extremadura this Sunday, ahead for the first time
890,985 citizens have the right to vote: 556,424 in Badajoz and 334,561 in Cáceres. According to all the polls, the PP will win the votes, but it will not achieve an absolute majority and the PSOE will be beaten, while Vox and Unidas will go up, always according to the polls.

The citizens of Extremadurahave an election day on Sunday , December 21. The President of the Community will be elected and the Parliament will be renewed with their votes. The PP candidate, Maria Guardiola, is the main favorite, and all the polls point to her as the winner, even though they have rejected an absolute majority.
The Extremean Parliament has 65 seats, and in the last legislature, PP and PSOE had 28 deputies; 5, Vox and 4, Unidas.
The polling stations will be opened at 09:00 and 890,985 citizens have the right to vote (556,424 in Badajoz and 334,561 in Cáceres), most of whom live in Extremadura itself and 30,610 abroad (foreign vote).
Candidates
The candidates are María Guardiola (PP), Miguel Ángel Gallardo (PSOE), Óscar Fernández (Vox) and Irene de Miguel (Unidas).
Election campaign
The heat has been the end of the campaign, with hundreds of votes stolen by mail and the sound of scams on the right. Maria Guardiola has fired her chauffeur after spreading that she has been convicted of male violence.
Results
The first official results have been announced by 21:30 and the final results by 26 December, so until then there will be provisional results.
Polls
All the polls, including the CIS, have given the PP the victory, but not by an absolute majority, according to which the PSOE is going to go down significantly, while Vox is going up.
Theft of mail votes
The Civil Guard believes that the robbery is not politically motivated and claims to have been a matter for ordinary criminals.
On Thursday, a robbery was committed in three post offices in Badajoz, and in one of them, in the town of Fuente de Cantos, a safe containing 14,000 euros and 124 postal votes was resolved. The Civil Guard found the stolen box "completely burnt" and the votes scattered around it, but no sign of the money was found.
