The President of the Navarre Government will appear before the media this Thursday to explain her decision.
President María Chivite will announce on Thursday changes in the structure of the Navarre Government. According to the newspaper Diario de Navarra, she will dismiss two party members: the first vice-president and adviser for the Presidency and Equality, Félix Taberna, and the spokesperson for the Foral Government and adviser for the Interior, Public Service and Justice, Amparo López.
Of thethirteencurrent councillors of the Navarre Government, eight belong to the PSN.PSOE, Geroa Bai has four and the Contigo-Zurekin coalition has one.
Since Chivite took office in 2023, he will reshape the Government forthe second time. In the first, he dismissed Juan Cruz Cigudosa, Counsellor for Universities, Innovation and Digital Transformation, because he was appointed Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Universities.
