Cosme Delclaux, a lawyer who was long kidnapped by ETA in the late 1990s, has died
In November of this year, it would be 30 years since he was kidnapped by ETA. He spent 232 days hiding in a hole.

Attorney Cosme Delclaux Zubiria died this Saturday in Bilbao at the age of 64.
Delclaux was the protagonist of one of the longest kidnappings of ETA in the late 1990s. The lawyer was kidnapped on 11 November 1996 at the age of 34 in Zamudio and released 232 days later, on 1 July 1997, tied to a tree in a place in Elorrio.
The armed group chained several long kidnappings in the late 1990s: that of industrialist José María Aldaia in 1995, and that of Ortega Lara and Delclaux in 1996.
A few years after his release, two cars bomb the family (one exploded without causing personal injury and one was deactivated by the Ertzaintza).
The funeral will be held this Monday at San Ignacio de Loyola Parish in Neguri.
