The General Meetings of Álava hold a regular session of the Free Territories in Peñacerrada
After the official reception, among others, the Txistularis, Trumpeters and Atabaleros have accompanied the party to the wall. They meet annually on the last Sunday of May in some village in the Free Lands. Last year they were to meet in Peñacerrada, but the event was cancelled due to the death of their mayor.
