Sanchez announces a €6.2 billion investment in dependency

The President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, has announced the "largest investment in the history of democracy" in the area of dependency, amounting to EUR 6.2 billion.
The Council of Ministers shall adopt by royal decree-law an increase in the allocation for dependency by 2026 and 2027.
Sánchez explained that this investment will make it possible to fulfil one of the commitments of the legislature: that the General Administration of the State will finance 50% of the dependency system.
