Morocco calls on Spain to repatriate survivors and bodies of dead
The Moroccan Minister of Justice has called for an agreement with Spain and has ensured that Morocco is ready to send buses to Ceuta to receive survivors.

Moroccan Minister of Justice Abdellatif Ouahbi has asked Spain to repatriate to Morocco the survivors of the attempt to cross the passage from Tarajal to the autonomous city of Ceuta on 30 July and the bodies of those who drowned.
With regard to the fatalities, Ouahbi has stated that Spain has not provided his country with any information on the number of bodies found. "We have no medical records or identification of these bodies.
As for the survivors, Ouahbi says that Morocco is willing to send buses to pick them up and take them to the country. "We don't make a distinction between the dead and the living. We want them all. Why that distinction? (...) They just asked usto accept the dead.
In an interview with the Arab chain Al Arabiya, Ouahbi has called for an agreement with Spain to manage these procedures, as well as a comprehensive approach to migration between the two countries.
Identification of victims
This Friday,18 immigrants were buriedin the Muslim cemetery Ceuta and their graves were marked with numbers to facilitate the location of the remains, resulting in 82 deaths.
On the other hand, the authorities continue to work to identify the victims, a process that is progressing slowly.
