Chief Zupiria reiterates that the number remains lower than in previous calls. He also apologizes for the delay in the start of last Saturday's tests and claims that the process met "all security guarantees".

 Industria, Counsellor for Energy Transition and Sustainability, has expressed concern about the company's debt, stressing the need to restructure the debt in order to ensure its sustainability.

The examinations have begun an hour and a quarter later than planned because more places and tests have had to be prepared (70 per cent of the candidates have been submitted and more than 85 per cent have been present today). The Department of Safety and Security has explained in a statement that the trade unions have been informed of what has happened.

Despite criticism, the Housing Counsellor has said that the PNV-PSE coalition government is "working" and that this legislature has been left behind by the "big discrepancies" in housing policy in the past.

The Tourism Advisor, Javier Hurtado, has described as "positive" the content of the foral rule drawn up by the deputies and has stressed that it is a "homogeneous" regulation for the three historical territories, and has applauded the fact that it is a progressive tax because it will mean that "whoever has more pays more".

He was elected in December with the support of PNV, PSE and PP, and almost two months later he took office today in the plenary of the Basque Parliament.  

The Minister of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability of the Basque Government has advocated on Radio Euskadi to seek among all the agents the true viability of Tubos Reunidos and to "complete an industrial project of the future"  that will maintain industrial activity in Amurrio and Trapagaran, although he has acknowledged that debt is a major problem and that "the situation is complicated".

The Minister for Welfare, Youth and Demographic Challenge, Nerea Melgosa, said on Tuesday that the Basque Government has a debate on "screens and emotional well-being" on its agenda and is working on a "comprehensive country strategy" that goes "beyond simple or isolated responses."

Following a complaint by the former PNV leader in Álava Alfredo de Miguel, the prison supervision judge responded in a different way to the decision of the Treatment Board and the Basque Government, "as befits the rule of law", merely enforced the final court decision, as confirmed by the spokeswoman for the Basque Government, María Ubarretxena.

Along with the strings to protect the doughnut and throat, the oxen tests have a special place in San Blas, but this year the City Council has had to make adjustments to the program due to dermatosis. 

The presence of cattle at fairs and exhibitions shall be prohibited, but Members of Parliament may, exceptionally, authorize the presence of cattle from the same farm under certain conditions, which may make the holding of shows and sokamuturras of carnival cowboys knocking on the door.

The Deputy Minister of Health, Lore Bilbao, has explained in the "Egun On" program of ETB1 that they wanted to send a "clear message" to the families and asked for reports to do so. When they were waiting for them, EH Bildu made the matter public. "If they knew 10 days earlier, why didn't they do anything? In this case we knew, but what would happen if we hadn't known?"

Pello Otxandiano welcomes "everything that increases the ability of the Basques to decide on issues that affect our daily lives and the well-being of our citizens." 

The spokeswoman for the Basque Government, Maria Ubarretxena, has announced that the central and Basque governments will sign on Friday the transfer to the Basque Country of five other competences of the 1979 Gernika Autonomy Statute, including unemployment benefits and non-contributory social security benefits.

Maria Ubarretxena, Counsellor for Governance, Digital Administration and Self-Government and spokesperson for the Basque Government, has recalled that there are still issues to be negotiated, but has stressed that they cannot always be working against the clock. "We ask for seriousness and another way to start negotiations," added Ubarretxena.

The spokeswoman for the Basque Government, Maria Ubarretxena, has confirmed that the meeting will take place tomorrow at 10.30 a.m. in Madrid, after two days of contacts with the Spanish Government.
