The Mayor of Bilbao, Juan Mari Aburto , wants the citizens to enjoy the Big Week in a climate of freedom and security. He has said that the Festival Commission is responsible for bringing together different points of view so that these are "thebest partiesin the world ". In this interview he has also called for respect and coexistence in order to enjoy the Big Week in harmony.
