Netanyahu's Likud dominates the election for now, but it would be overtaken by the opposition bloc, with the Arab left in third place
With about 37% of the votes cast yesterday in Israel, Binyamin Netanyahu's Likud continues to dominate with 21.7% of the vote, followed by dagp Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar! (15.7%), while the Arab-majority leftist Joint List (9.2%), which could hold the key to governance, ranks third.

Netanyahu has called for the final results to be awaited, but has opted for a right-wing\ u00A0government without an "Arab and anti-Zionist party."
The partial ballot and the ballot box polls givethe winner Likud, but they do not give their bloc a majority in the Kneset (Parliament), meaning it would not reach 61 seats.
The turnout was 77.7%, almost eight points higher than in 2022, and the highest since 1999, with a significant increase in the number of votes in the Arab villages.
The ballot can be extended until noon today. In 2022, the final results were published around 14:00 (13:00 in the Basque Country).
