TAV stations in San Sebastian and Irun will be operational between May and July
The first terminals of the High Speed Train in Gipuzkoa have begun their final straight, and the platform of the route will be almost completed later this year.

The Secretary of State for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, José Antonio Santano, has specified that the station that will take the TAV to San Sebastián will end in May and that of Irun between June and July.
Both terminals are the first to be fully operational within the Guipuzcoano branch. The Donostia-San Sebastián station will be ready in May and the Irun station will be completed between June and July, Santano said.
The Secretary of State has also highlighted the progress of the works and has assured us that the TAV platform will be practically completed by the end of the year. In this regard, he has recalled that the Martutene assembly base in San Sebastian has already been awarded for rail storage.
He has also stressed that the catenary is being installed on several stretches and has explained that the work at the stations is progressing at a good pace.
On the other hand, Santano has acknowledged that there is no new link between the TAVand Navarre, which has not yet been decided between the options of Vitoria and Ezkio-Itsaso.
The statements were made during the presentation in Bilbao of the new C5 commuter line linking Karrantza with Aranguren (Zalla).
