Galan said so at the shareholders "meeting held this Friday in Bilbao, at which the president of Iberdrola stated that, according to the International Energy Agency, "all uses" of electricity "will increase by more than 50%".
During Question Time, a representative of the ELA trade unioncriticised the loss of purchasing power of workers and the attitude of the company, which regretted that, after 16 months of negotiating thenew collective agreement, 'it cannot be more regressive'.
He also believes that this deterioration in staffing conditions contrasts with the good running of the company, which causes unrest, to the point of causing a mobilization.
Last year they called for the first strike in the state at the company, and this Friday they held another in South Euskal Herria and Galicia.
In Bilbao, Iberdrola workers have called in front of the company's headquarters for a negotiation that guarantees the CPI and have denounced that "even agreements between confederations for collective bargaining are not respected".
The protests took place throughout the week in front of the headquarters, holding rallies in the Plaza de Euskadi, while today a demonstration was held by CCOO Industria, UGT FICA and ELA, in which hundreds of workers took part.
