The Spanish Food Safety and Nutrition Agency (AESAN) has warned that 13 communities sell baby cookies from China from the Bingqi Foods brand , on whose labels there is no indication that they contain allergenic milk, soya or sulphite.
The products are: chocolate, coconut and milk cookies in bags of 55 and 54 grams, chocolate and strawberry cookies in bags of 45 grams, chocolate, strawberry and milk biscuits in box of 50 grams, chocolate biscuits in box of 50 grams and chocolate, strawberry and milk cookies in box of 100 grams.
Strawberry cookies are also included in the 142-gram box, tiramisucookies in the 150-gram box, stuffed cheese-flavored cookies and chocolate, strawberry and milk sticks in the 40-gram box.
According to the information available, the initial distribution has been carried out in Andalusia, Aragón, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Catalonia, Comunidad Valenciana, Galicia, Madrid, Murcia, Navarra and País Vasco, although it has not been ruled out that the products can reach other communities.
Given the "large" number of products involved, Aesan recommends that people who are allergic or intolerant to ingredients, milk, soya or sulphites should not consume them at home.
However, they add that the consumption of these products poses no risk to the rest of the population.
