A person was killed last nightafter enteringa police station in Montornes del Vallès (Barcelona) armed with a terrorist motive.
According to the Mossos d'Escaladra, the event took place at 9:30 p.m. on Friday at the local police station in the municipality of Catalonia.
A young man between the ages of 20 and 25 has entered the police station carrying a knife and threatening the officers who were there. The Mossos report that after attempting to calm the aggressor, one of the officers shot the young man, who was then killed.
The wounded policeman has been taken seriously to a hospital in Barcelona.
According to the Mosses, the individual is an "unstable person" , so it hasinitially been ruled out that the case has any terrorist motivation.
