The Provincial Council of Álava has announced grants to finance the costs against Mildiua

This Sunday, 14 September, the 30th Festival of the Vintage of the Rioja Alavesa was held in Leza (Álava), where the DeputyGeneral ofthe Provincial Council of Álava, Ramiro González , announced the granting of financial aid against the Millennium .
During the event, Gonzalez said that the mildiu has caused a hard year and recalled that the Council is granting a new grant to deal with it.
"It has not been an easy year for winegrowers. This year is being the year of the Mildiu. The Council has another subsidy to support the costs against the mildiu," explained the General Member of Álava.

The Provincial Council of Álava will allocate€1,600,000to this grant.
On the other hand, the Basque Government, the Food, Rural Development, Agriculture and Fisheries Adviser, Amaia Barredo Eusko Jaurliartzako Elikadura, Rural Development, Agriculture and Fisheries, has announced thelaunchof a permanent office in Rioja Alavesa.
Its aim will be to be closer to the wine sector by strengthening cooperation in order to provide advice and respond to the needs that arise.
The office will be located at theheadquartersof theRioja Alavesa Squad Guardian and will remain open for three days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 to 14:00.
