A 52-year-old man died this Saturday as a result of the explosion in a bar in Vallecas (Madrid). At least 25 people have been injured, three of them seriously, according to the capital's emergency services.
The Madrid City Council firefighters have found the deceased man in a basement under more than a metre of sand and debris in the building where the explosion occurred, on Manuel Maroto Street in the Puente de Vallecas district.
