A baby dies in Vitoria as it falls from a second-floor window

A baby of about a year diedon Saturday in Gasteiz asit fell from a window on the second floor. The Basque Government's Department of Security has confirmed to EITB that the event occurred before 6:00 p.m. on Agirrelanda Streetin the Arriaga-Lakua neighborhood.
The minor was urgently taken to Txagorritxu hospital, where they were only able to certify his death.
The first intervention was carried out by the Municipal Police, but the proceedings were carried out by the Ertzaintza, which is investigating what happened. Sources have indicated that it appearsto have been an accident.
