Flights from Madrid, Alicante, Basel, Barcelona and Paris early in the morning have been diverted to Santander, and one of them has had to return to Madrid due to the intense fog at Loiu airport.
Six flights from various parts of the Spanish State, Switzerland and France, which were due to land at Bilbao Airport, had to be diverted early this Tuesday due to fog at Loiu Airport.
The diverted flights came from Madrid (2 flights), Alicante, Basel (Switzerland), Barcelona and Paris (France). Due to the fog at Loiu airport in the early morning hours, five of them have been diverted and finally landed in Santander. A sixth has returned to Madrid.
