Four young men arrested for assaulting a gang with belts and glass bottles
According to a witness and the victim himself, they were attacked when they were going to buy a vending machine in Vitoria.
The Vitoria-Gasteiz Municipal Police arrested four men — two aged 19 and one aged 20 and 21 — as alleged perpetrators of the serious injuriesthat occurred early last Saturday in the Coronation neighbourhood, where the four assailants attacked a group of boys with belts and glass bottles.
When the police arrived at the scene they found a man with a wound to his eyebrow and bleeding. Thanks to the description provided by this victim and a witness, three assailants were first captured, and the fourth was stopped reluctantly and aggressively by the police.
According to the witness and the victims, the alleged assailants arrived while the gang was shopping in a vending machine, scolding them to leave the place. Then an argument began and began to attack them with the help of their belts. An assailant also attacked a victim with bottles, causing serious injuries. After being treated there, the assailants were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
