The City Council of Vitoria-Gasteiz has partially halted the renovation of Judimendi Park due to the discovery of archaeological remains in the installation of new children's games.
The works began at theend of August with the intention of renovating this green zone . However, on Monday, workers working in the area farther from the bar found bone remains during excavation work.
The City Council activated the protocol for these cases and contacted the Archaeology Service of the Provincial Council of Álava.

In that part of the park, the works are still paralyzed until the findings are known.
