Last Friday, a person had to be taken to Txagorritxu hospital because anelectric scooter exploded and inhaled smoke in an establishment in the Zaramaga district of Vitoria-Gasteiz.
According to the City Council of Vitoria-Gasteiz, the firefighters arrived around 7 p.m. on Friday at the Catholic Kings Street. The owners of the premises took the electric scooter battery out of the street and sprayed it with a fire extinguisher while waiting for the firefighters.
The firefighters put the battery in a bucket with water so that it wouldn't catch the fire again and then ventilated the establishment to remove the smoke from the premises.
