When will the Christmas lights be turned on in the capitals of Hego Euskal Herria?
Bilbao, Pamplona, Donostia-San Sebastián and Vitoria-Gasteiz are already full of ornaments, and some capitals have also announced their Christmas programme.
Despite the fact that Christmas is more than a month away, the capitals of Hego Euskal Herria are preparing for the end of the year. Christmas decoration is already underway in Bilbao, Pamplona, San Sebastián and Vitoria-Gasteiz, and some capitals have already announced their Christmas program. But when will the lights light up in Hego Euskal Herria?
BILBO
The Bilbao City Council has not yet officially announced when the lights will be turned on, although it is mouth-to-mouth that it will be at the end of the month. As a novelty, this year the lights will be on until 00:00 and the ice rink and slide will be opened on November 21.
PAMPLONA
As usual, the next 29th of November, St Saturnino's Day, will light up in Pamplona.
This year they will install motifs, arches and decorations that have not been used before. They have renovated free creation spaces in the square and town hall, Castle Square and Charles III Avenue and several streets.
SAN SEBASTIAN
In San Sebastian, the lights will be turned on on on November 28 with a show with 500 drones. This time, however, it will not be a three-day show like last year. In other words, a single show will be organised, but "of higher quality".
The event will begin at 7.30 p.m.
VITORIA
Like San Sebastian, Vitoria-Gasteiz will be illuminated on the 28th, with 800 Christmas motifs everywhere.
