Hundreds of people have gathered in Zestoa to support the six accused of "feminist solidarity."

On Tuesday, six neighbours of Zestoa will be tried in the San Sebastian Court for crimes against coercion and moral integrity. Duela will be tried for seven years, when a man from Zestoa filed a complaint against his ex-partner and five other compatriots. 

This man says they violated his moral integrity and damaged his reputation because they charged him with male violence.

Her ex-partner and the Zestoa Feminist Movement say she's the persecutor. 

Today a rally was held in the Plaza de los Fueros in Zestoa and a crowd gathered to show solidarity with the six compatriots and to oppose this trial. The Feminist Movement has said that the defendants only defended the woman. 

The six defendants have been supported by 29 local agents, including the PNV and EH Bildu parties, as well as the ELA union.

The prosecution and the prosecution are requesting sentences of up to five years' imprisonment for the former couple and the mayor of Zestoa and up to four years for the remaining four.
