A 77-year-old man has been rescued in the Aralar Mountains
A 77-year-old man has been slightly injured after falling near the Pagomari cave in the Aralar Mountains.
According to SOS Navarra, the accident occurred at 12:19 p.m. and, as a result of the fall, the man suffered a fainting and a hand wound.
He has been treated by a medical team from Irurtzun and the fire brigade from Alsasua, who have taken him off a runway from the Aralar forest guard about three kilometres from the forest.
After medical assessment, the man has been taken in a private vehicle to a health centre in Gipuzkoa for further evaluation.
