The complaint of sexual assault in the vicinity of the university tent in Pamplona has been filed
The attack occurred on the night of 23 October near the "university tent" in Pamplona. A young woman was raped and taken to the Navarra University Hospital Complex. Four men allegedly involved were arrested and imprisoned. But, after finding that the DNA tests did not match their genetic profile, the judge released the four prisoners.
The head of Pamplona Court of Violence against Women No. 1 has shelved, in the absence of a known author, the complaint of sexual assault that occurred last October in the vicinity of a university party in the Navarre capital. The four men arrested have been found innocent by DNA evidence.
The information has been advanced by the Diario de Navarra and confirmed to EFE by judicial sources.
The attack took place on the night of 23 October, near the tent of the University of Pamplona. A young woman was raped and taken to Navarra University Hospital.
Four men were subsequently arrested by the local police as implicated, and the Court for Violence against Women ordered them to be placed in pre-trial detention in October, reported and without bail, on charges of sexual assault (rape) and theft.
On December 19, after finding that the DNA evidence did not match the genetic profiles of these men, the judge released the four prisoners.
In the court decision, the magistrate explained that he made the decision after receiving the result of the DNA tests, "if there is a male profile, but it does not correspond to anyone under investigation," he says.
