Guide to pre-enrollment in ICSC schools
The Department of Education of the Basque Government will open from 2 to 13 February the deadline for submitting pre-enrollment applications for the year 2026-2027 in public and concerted schools in the Basque Country, Children's Education, Primary Education and Compulsory Secondary Education.
Here we have gathered all the things we need to know for registration:

FREQUENT QUESTIONS:
- How many applications can I submit? Bat.
- Does this mean that I can only apply for a school? Ez. In your application you can make as many requests as you want: school and language model. It is recommended to request as many centres as possible, especially those closest to home, to avoid awarding them to an unselected school.
- Does it matter in what order I order the applications? Ez. You must order the applications according to their preferences, because in the award you will be given the best you can according to that arrangement.
- In order to continue in the same centre, do I have to submitan application? Ez. If you are currently enrolled in a two-year or higher level and want to continue in the same centre and language model, your stay is guaranteed, provided that the school grants the next level of what you are doing, so you do not have to submit any application.
- If you are already in a one-year classroom at a school, do I have to submitan application for stay at the same school? Y. Students enter our education system at a level equal to or greater than two years. Consequently, if they have enrollment at a school level of one year and wish to remain at the same level of two years, they must participate in the admission process and submit the corresponding application.
- May I submit additional documentation after the deadline? Ez. If it does not submit all the required documentation within the period of time, the application shall be incomplete and shall not be taken into account in the allocation of seats.
- If last year I was assigned a school that I didn't apply for at the first opportunity, and this year I want to try again, can I apply again for the next course? And if I'm not given the requested school again, will I lose my place at the school where I am now? you can apply and add the number of options you consider appropriate (the better).
