A man has been arrested in Irun for burning a container and is being investigated if he is behind the events of recent months

The Ertzaintza has arrested a 21-year-old in Irun after being caught burning a container.

In addition to this incident, the Ertzaintza investigates its involvement in sabotages similar to those in Irun over the past two months, which have set fire to several vehicles and urban furniture in recent months.

The Basque Government's Department of Security reported on Sunday that it was intercepted last night in the Anzaran neighbourhood of Irun, where a witness warned them that a man had set fire to a paper container.

After his arrest, the young man was transferred to police stations and an investigation was opened.
