They'll investigate the 112 manager who received a notice about the status of the Santander runway

The instructor of the incident at the El Bocal Pass in Santander will investigate the manager of 112, since the day before the accident, a neighbour informed him of the state of the passage. On March 3, six young people died and a seventh girl was injured when the passage collapsed.

The 112 telephone manager testified on Thursday at the Santander High Court for 45 minutes, in which he changed his procedural status from witness to investigator.

The purpose of this decision is to guarantee this worker the right to a defence, including not to testify, not to plead guilty and to be assisted by counsel, as explained by judicial sources.

This 112 service worker in Cantabria has joined three others investigated in this case: two officials from the Coast Demarcation and the local police who were alerted by the 112 manager.

This Friday was the first day of the statements before the magistrate investigating the case for the incident, during which the neighbour who reported the state of the runway the day before the incident, the cyclists who saw the victims and reported the accident and another citizen who had long denounced the state of the passage, testified as a witness.
