A man killed his 43-year-old ex-partner in Seseña (Toledo) on Thursday. The aggressor, 50, had a history of male violence and, after committing the crime, committed suicide. The crime was the result of a quarrel with the victim's son, who ended up in hospital with injuries.
Sources of the investigation have informed EFE that the woman's body has been found in her home with signs of stab violence. In the same house, Civil Guard agents have also found the man's body hanged.
The woman reported the man at the end of January for male violence, specifically the psychological abuse and harassment he had been subjected to since November 2024, when divorce proceedings began, a complaint that led to the man being arrested and arrested again on 12 April for violating a restraining order.
According to the same sources, no legal action was currently in force against the man, although he had a history of male violence and the victim was registered in the VioGen system with a low level of risk.
