The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed at least two casesof inflammation associated with the Hondius expedition ship, held off the coast of Cape Verde, as reported by the shipping company Oceanwide Expeditions.

On the 11th of April a passenger died on the voyage, but the cause of his death could not be ascertained. His body landed in St. Helena on the 24th of April, assisted by his wife, to be repatriated.
