This led to the establishment of a commission of inquiry provided for in the "Procedure for the Prevention, Resolution and Monitoring of Situations of Conflict, Harassment or Other Internal Violence in the Working Environment" of the Navarro Health Service, Osasunbidea.
Last Thursday the Health Adviser, Fernando Domínguez, recalled in plenary session of the Navarre Parliament that this committee has been working, conducting interviews and investigating the case for several months, about 50 people have been involved in the process. Now the committee of inquiry has completed its work and has drawn its conclusions in a report, in accordance with the procedure.
In view of the existence of "indications that certain activities may constitute offences", he refers the report to the Public Prosecutor's Office, while at the administrative level he reports that the relevant proceedings are under way and that they will be reported when they are carried out.
In addition, yesterday, Tuesday, the Secretariat of the Commission has sent a communication to all persons who have participated in the Committee of Inquiry to inform them of the initiation of proceedings in the Public Prosecutor's Office if the Public Prosecutor's Office considers that there is evidence of a crime. It has informed them, for example, that such persons may be summoned to testify or that they may review their statements to the Committee of Inquiry. "The Navarro Health Service has followed the steps laid down in the current protocol and the procedure envisaged for such cases after the report."
