An accident on the Rontegi Bridge off Barakaldo this Friday caused long traffic jams in the Txorierri corridor and in La Avanzada, traffic sources reported.
The accident, which took place at around 14:00 on the BI-30, in the sense of Bilbao, involved four vehicles, and as a result of the accident two lanes are cut off, making traffic on one of the main access points to the metropolitan area of Bilbao considerably more difficult.
Right now, the traffic jams are up to eight kilometers in the Txorierri corridor and six kilometers in La Avanzada to Artzaza.
