The fire started on Wednesday afternoon and a fire brigade from Vitoria-Gasteiz and the Provincial Council of Álava have been working to extinguish the fire until early in the morning.
In addition, due to the presence of smoke, SOS Deiak recommended on Wednesday not to travel along the A-2124 in the port of Vitoria unless strictly necessary and also to avoid outdoor activities in the surrounding area.
