Bolt will henceforth offer VTC service in Bilbao
Some of the vehicles on the mobility platform in the Byzantine capital will be 100% electric.
The Bolt mobility platform starts a driver vehicle service (VTC) in Bilbao on Monday, offering 100% electric cars from the start of the service.
The company has issued a statement explaining that the electrical category has become one of the "fastest growing" options in the cities where Bolt operates. With its commitment, the company has indicated that it wants to help "reduce emissions" and move towards "a more user-friendly urban mobility model."
Bolt has pointed out that, following the example of other cities, he will workwith small and medium-sized enterprises and self-employed workers in Bizkaia Eredua, he has stressed, will create new economic opportunities for businesses and professionals in the area.
The company added that its arrival is intended to strengthen the local business fabric through cooperation based on innovation and digitization.
Bilbao, with a population of 351,000 and more than 850,000 in the metropolitan area, has been consolidated, according to Bolt, as an "international benchmark for business and innovation." The company also says that it has a "clear vision of the future," and that, "along with this transformation, it aims to offer accessible, electric and digital mobility that meets the needs of residents and visitors."
It has also stressed the need to create a'stable regulatory framework for the coexistence of operators'.
