Txosnas concerts suspended for three days: August 5 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, August 14 in Donostia and August 26 in Bilbao

The concerts scheduled for 5 August at the Vitoria-Gasteiz festivities, 14 San Sebastián Big Week and 26 Bilbao Big Week have been cancelled due to the strike called by the entertainment workers.

Under the auspices of the unions ESK, LAB, UGT, ELA and CCOO, the workers of the events and shows of Euskal Herria announced on 21 July new days of protest for the festivities of the three Basque capitals.

The aim was to denounce the 'precariousness' of the sector, to denounce the employers accused of blocking the negotiation of the first regulatory agreement and to demand 'decent' working conditions.

The strike calls were presented at a public hearing in Bilbao's Plaza del Arriaga. The entertainment workers were also accompanied by representatives of the Gazteiz Txosna Board, the Pirates of San Sebastián and Bilboko Konpartsak, who also expressed their support for the workers 'demands because they "know firsthand" the problems and precariousness of the sector, although the employers continue to deny them.

The organizations of the organization of the txosnas have confirmed to the conveners of the strike that they will cancel the concerts scheduled for 5 August at the festivals of La Blanca de Vitoria-Gasteiz, 14 at the Aste Nagusia de San Sebastián and 26 at the Aste Nagusia de Bilbao.
